Collaging Workshop

On 1 August 2026, myself and writer Elizabeth Leon headed down to Chesham Market to host a creative workshop for children.

Children collaged using the scene of Chesham high street (from archival photos in the Museum’s collection) and we helped them to create a story of Chesham through time travel by inputted their own characters - characters who ranged from robots to dinosaurs to Romans.

Around 100 people stopped by our stall to take part, talk about their memories of the past of Chesham, or their hopes for the future of the town.
